Donut Farm’s rocky start in Silver Lake; vegan pulled pork in Eagle Rock; Individual Medley’s makeover in Atwater

Vegan donuts have officially rolled into Silver Lake by way of Donut Farm, although its Feb. 13 launch was a bumpy one, its website reports. The donuts did not meet expectations and some were given away at the grand opening. But after a day or two of fine-tuning, the Donut Farm team achieved the same standards as the donuts from its home base in San Francisco. Donut Farm is owned by Pepples Organic Donuts and serves cake and raised donuts, plus it offers a vegan coffee bar. Donut Farm is located on the 2600 block of Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake.
