One person shot during Eagle Rock home invasion


EAGLE ROCK  — One person was shot following a home invasion robbery in the 4600 block of Ellenwood Drive this morning, police said.

Police are looking for two suspects who broke into a residence after 8 a.m., said LAPD Officer Matthew Ludwig. The person who was shot was transported to a hospital. Ludwig had no information on the victim’s condition.

The suspects, described as a male white with blond hair and a male black with brown hair, were seen running from the location.

ABC 7 reports that a woman was entering the home when the suspects forced their way inside, pistol-whipping the woman and shooting a man in the residence.
