Police seeking man after his mother is stabbed in Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS — LAPD  is searching for a man in his early 20s in connection with the stabbing of his mother early this morning in Boyle Heights, the L.A. Times reports.

Officers responded to a radio call shortly after midnight and found a woman with stab wounds at her home in the 3700 block of Lee Street. She was transported to L.A. County- USC Medical Center, where she is in stable condition.

“We’re still trying to figure everything out,”  Sgt. Minh Nguyen, with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Station, told the Times.
