One man was killed and another injured on Saturday night after they were both stabbed during a possible road rage incident on the border of Los Feliz and Silver Lake, according to news and police reports.
The occupants of two vehicles were traveling near the junction of Sunset Boulevard, Fountain Avenue and Hoover Street when the stabbing took place shortly before 7 p.m., according to LAPD spokeswoman Rosario Herrera. One of the male victims was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries; the other victim is in stable condition, Herrera said.
The suspects, described as an African-American female and a white male, drove off from the scene in an older model, black Toyota 4Runner. Both suspects remained at large as of this morning, Herrera said.
Herrera had no further details about what prompted the stabbing. But NBC LA reported that preliminary police reports said that the incident was prompted by an act of road rage.
