  1. It’s time to get quality folks for local government. OK, I know, that’s impossible here.

  2. This will be Fredy Ceja’s 4th DUI!!! How in gods name is he #1 employed by the Government? #2 Still allowed to drive? and #3 not in jail?! Someone get his man some help and please please please will someone(our liberal blog media) hold our politicians accountable for their actions? Is this the only CD1 staff member with past booze/drug problems? Why does Gil protect his criminal staff? Its almost like a joke now you really can’t make this stuff up, anti safe streets councilman’s staff crashes into bus while drunk, keeps job.

    • Problem is, he’s had three opportunities to get help and either hasn’t, or has possibly stopped and then returned to drinking. If he can’t stay away from alcohol he should have to drink as a pedestrian. No Driver’s License as of this date and into jail for years if caught driving without.

    • I’m been burning out on reading comments on websites lately. But this is why they’re valuable!!!! I know this post was just a digest of news items. But dang, you added some really important context. 4th DUI! Still driving!

If Cedillo even pretends to care about the safety of his district, he should have zero tolerance for this.

  3. Roadkill Gil really knows how to pick em!

  4. I don’t always drink and drive, but when I do I drink Dos Equis- Gil Cedillo

  5. Big cheer for gentrification along the river! It’s an awesome place to be and we deserve to not have LAPD helicopters constantly searching for sketchballs, lazy poor people dumping garbage all over the streets, busted up old neglected sidewalks and streets and sparse streetlighting. The smart ones bought in years ago and got their house for absolutely nothing and will now get to enjoy their retirement in a community getting cleaner and nicer. The renters complaining about rent going up, that’s going to happen in any desirable community in the world. The renters who have rented for 30 years, nobody to blame but your own stupidity for not buying in back when it was cheap.
