Man killed during possible El Sereno robbery [updated]

EL SERENO — Police are searching for suspects in connection with a fatal shooting that happened at around 9:34 p.m. on Sunday near Worth and Indiana streets, said a spokesman with Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim, a male between 45 and 50 years of age, was shot and killed during a possible robbery, said police. No further details were available. The investigation is ongoing.

ABC 7 reports that the victim was taxi cab driver.

Updated: KTLA has identified the victim as 43-year-old Antonio Paz Gonzalez.
