TiGeorges serving up last meal on Sunday

Storefront ReportECHO PARK —  Chef TiGeorges Laguerre is serving up his last rotisserie chicken and other Haitian favorites on Sunday when his TiGeorges’ Chicken restaurant on Glendale Boulevard closes.

A person at the restaurant confirmed the Sunday closure over the phone. Jeremy Rosenberg, who co-authored a book with Laguerre, also announced the closing date on Twitter.

Laguerre last month told Eater LA and others that he was preparing to close but did not give an exact date.  Laguerre told Eater that the sale of the building had prompted his decision to close but he did not provide any more details.

  1. I do hope TiGeorges can find another space in Echo Park. He and his restaurant are unique and irreplaceable.
