Highland Park celebrates Franklin High’s centennial

HIGHLAND PARK — The 100th anniversary of  Franklin High School  is being celebrated today with a parade down Avenue 54, tours, book fair, music, birthday cake and the unveiling of a school museum. Katrina Alexy snapped photos as the Franklin marching band and school clubs made their way down Monte Vista in a show of Panther pride.
