Lincoln Park sexual assault suspect apprehended

LINCOLN HEIGHTS — Police this afternoon said that a suspected gang member has been apprehended in connection with Monday’s sexual assault of a woman inside a restroom at Lincoln Park.

Edgar Lobos, 27, had been released from jail for only about 12 hours when he forced a woman at gunpoint to get into a park restroom where he sexually assaulted her, according to a KTLA account of an afternoon press conference.

The victim was attacked at about noon but did not report the crime for several hours, police said.

  1. Good work LAPD. Since the criminal justice system cannot seem to keep this guy in jail where he belongs perhaps he could be transported directly to Jerry Brown’s home where the governor, who believes in the ability of people to change, could house him.

  2. Gentrify! – Gentrify! – Gentrify! Out with the old, in with the new! Let’s make these neighborhoods civilized where residence respect the law and each other.*

*If you are already civilized and respect your fellow neighbors and the law, this doesn’t apply to you so calm down.
