Longtime Silver Lake sports spot Good Microbrew & Grill has been taken over by another sports bar, 33 Taps, Eater LA reports. Initially, Good’s owner Ron Martinez stated in an email that the temporary closure was due to a small office fire, and that the place would be up and running. Federal investigation clears Occidental College of most civil rights violations; teacher’s assistant arrested over sexual battery charges at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex

MORNING REPORT: An investigation by the U.S Department of Education determined that Occidental College did not for the most part violate federal civil rights laws with the exception of being slow to handle some complaints of sexual misconduct and retaliation ....
