Echo Park fire hydrant gets a Dodger-blue makeover

ECHO PARK –  Who says all fire hydrants have to be yellow? The hydrant outside Echo Park’s Fire Station No. 20 on Sunset Boulevard now sports a paint job that would please any Dodger fan. There’s even a baseball painted on the nozzle cap.

  2. According to one of the firemen, they make all the rookies do a project and this hydrant was the most recent project. He also said the paint was official Dodger Blue from the team. He might’ve been pulling my leg, but it seemed legit! Go Blue!
