Man killed in City Terrace shooting

EAST LOS ANGELES — A man was shot to death late Thursday night in the City Terrace section of East Los Angeles.

Homicide detectives were called to the 4200 block of Woolwine Drive to investigate the shooting death of a man at around 11:10 p.m.,  according to a statement released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department .

The victim, an adult Latino, was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No further information is available at this time, a department spokesperson said this morning. The investigation is ongoing.
