That’s what a lot of Metro riders and the passengers of several other transit agencies and bus lines will be asking starting next Monday, July 11, when Patsaouras Bus Plaza next to Union Station closes for three months of renovations.
The stops that ring the oval plaza will be scattered around the Union Station property. That means some Eastside riders who pass through the plaza will have to allow more time if they want to transfer to other bus lines as well as get and and from trains on the Gold and Red lines and Amtrak and Metrolink.
Patsaouras Plaza, is scheduled to reopen on October 10 after the surface is repaired and other improvements are made.
So, who is Patsaouras Plaza named after? Find out here.
