Boyle Heights suspect fatally shot by police was 14 years old; groundbreaking for Glassell Park Transit Center;

  • The L.A. County coroner said the armed suspect fatally shot by police on Tuesday night in Boyle Heights was a 14-year-old boy. CBS 2
  • A groundbreaking ceremony for the Glassell Park Transit Center at San Fernando and Verdugo roads will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 10:30 am, according  to the office of Councilman Gil Cedillo.
