LAFD puts out Echo Park house fire

ECHO PARK — Firefighters knocked down a house fire in the 1200 block of Lilac Place this morning, the L.A. Fire Department said on Twitter.

The fire, which broke out shortly before 6 a.m., was put out in about 30 minutes and was contained to the attic of the home. No injuries were reported.
