How can Christine Kantner, a NC member, submit a motion to comment on denying a building permit when she has a clear and present conflict of interest given their ownership of commercial property in the immediate area of the development? Doesn’t the NC have some form of ethics regulation that would prohibit this kind of thing?

    Also, denying the building of much needed housing, including 11% affordable rate housing, is pretty rich coming from someone who owns millions of dollars worth of residential and commercial property.
