Bulletin Board: How to find the perfect preschool in under three hours

November 5, 2016 Silver Lake Preschool Forum hosted by Silver Lake MOMS Club

Submitted by Silver Lake MOMS Club

Finding the perfect preschool for your child can be stressful. Luckily, the MOMS Club of Silver Lake is here to help make the process easier – they’re hosting their annual preschool forum at Ivanhoe Elementary School on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

Attendees to the event, which will be held at 2828 Herkimer Street, will get to meet and hear presentations by representatives from more than 20 local preschools. The forum is likely to sell out, so it’s best to reserve your spot now; the entry fee is $4 for those who register early (click here), or $5 at the door. The event will be held in an indoor auditorium and open to all parents; no play area will be provided. Free parking will be available.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Project Sleep Tight, a charity that provides supplies for children under five living in local shelters. Attendees are invited to bring new or gently used books, socks, blankets, stuffed animals, and pajamas.

The MOMS Club of Silver Lake has over 100 members in Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Atwater Village. For more information visit silverlakemomsclub.org.
