Found in Echo Park: Brindle coat, Lab Mix

eastside animals button small

My roommate found this very sweet, brindle coated Labrador mix in Elysian Park on October 9. He had a new color with a tag on it still, as well as a new leash, when found. He has a very prominent limp, from some problem with his front left paw. He is house trained, and relatively well-behaved, but has an affinity for leaping out of moving vehicles ( I suspect this is how is paw was injured). He doesn’t bark when left alone, does not go to the bathroom inside, and is extremely well behaved with other dogs and people. He behaves exactly like every lab I have ever known.

He was taken to the vet, and given some pain killers for his paw, and his micro-chip was scanned. The vet said he is likely predominantly lab.

The woman that was registered on the chip lives in Texas and said she gave the dog away to a co-worker come time ago, and we are unable to reach him.
