Price reductions on East L.A. Spanish; new El Sereno construction; Highland Park 3-bedroom

Prices on about three dozen homes, condos, apartments and other Eastside properties dropped during the past week. Here are some examples, followed by a breakdown by neighborhood: East L.A.: Price drops $60,000 on a 2-bedroom Spanish-style home. $390,000. Elysian Park’s problems mount as $12.5 million in funds go unused

Hundreds of trees are dead or dying across Elysian Park. The homeless live in countless encampments under shrubs and in deep ravines. Park goers complain of poorly maintained trails and trash. There's no shortage of problems that need fixing. But four years after a $12.5 million "enhancement fund" was established, the city still does not have a plan on how to spend that money for park improvements. Read More »
