Car flips over on Echo Park Avenue

ECHO PARK — Firefighters were at the scene of a crash this afternoon that left a car upside down in the 1800 block of Echo Park Avenue. Chris Reynolds sent in a photo of the scene at about 2:30 p.m. No word  on what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.

    • Hah, well played!

      Hopefully no one was hurt too badly. LA drivers are the worst… speeding, tailgating, weaving in and out of lanes, rarely yielding to pedestrians (if they even bother to look.)

      You’re operating heavy machinery in the middle of the commons, slow down and pay close attention. It’s not a race!

  2. Let me guess: driving way too fast, combined with lack of attention?

    • I was heading home and saw the aftermath. If you look at the car that is upside down you can see a handicap placard. The person driving that car may have had a medical emergency. That was the first thing I thought of. It also looked like the person hit the two parked cars cars there.. I only saw a couple of people on their phones and the police cruiser. I hope everyone is okay.
