ECHO PARK – One Down Dog, which operates yoga studios in Eagle Rock and Silver Lake, will open a third location early next year in the Echo Park Village complex now taking shape on Glendale Boulevard south of Temple Street.
Owner Jessica Rosen said the new studio will feature two spacious yoga rooms and retail shop. “We’re stoked to meet new yogis in Echo Park and DTLA.”
Aside from the usual yoga classes, one-on-one sessions and teacher training, One Down Dog also offers what it calls Yoga dance parties. Barry’s Boot Camp noted, “By the end of the night, everybody’s yoga mats have transformed into sweaty slip n’ slides and everyone is riding high on a yoga buzz.”
One Down Dog will join Clark Street Bread, a wholesale bakery founded by a former musician, that is also opening up in complex, where workers have stripped stucco off the brick exterior and the interiors are undergoing renovations.

*insert obligatory ‘ughhhh’ comment* seriously. why are you hating. this is a small business. at least it’s not a chipotle.
I hope they bring in an Olive Garden.
