FrankieLucy Bakeshop brings the best of two worlds to Silver Lake

Storefront ReportSILVER LAKE— The neighborhood just got a bit sweeter with the coming of FrankieLucy Bakeshop, a Filipino-inspired bakery, according to Eater LA. The sweet spot is situated near the former Sunset Boulevard location of Knuckle & Claw.

The concept is a collaboration between of Kristine de la Cruz of Crème Caramel LA in Sherman Oaks, and Annie Choi, founder of Found Coffee in Eagle Rock. From the Crème Caramel side of the family, look for Upside Down Pie. From the Found Coffee part of the DNA, look for the Bourbon Vanilla Latte.

FrankieLucy Bakeshop is located in the 3100 block of Sunset Boulevard.

  1. I hope they have bagels as well. One of the few things Echo Park is lacking in is fresh water bagels since the close of Brooklyn Bagels! Noahs Bagels are not water bagels and pale in comparison.
