Eagle Rock Public House is not very happy with the culprit who carved a swastika with Trump written beneath it on an interior wall, Eater LA reports. The Eagle Rock Public House team responded with a scathing Instagram post that stated, “I feel sad for you … and I want to throat punch you.” Eagle Rock Public House is located in the 1600 block of Colorado Boulevard.

In other Shopper & Diner News:

  • Tiki Ti in Silver Lake was named by LA Weekly as one of the seven best Tiki Bars in Southern California. One major change worth mentioning: Smoking is no longer allowed in the once exclusively family-owned bar, with the addition of a non-family employee.
  • Look for the white banner with a pig next to Hi Tech Automotive in Silver Lake and you’ll find Banh Oui, a new weekday pop-up in Silver Lake, Eater LA reports. Expect pork belly banh mi sandwiches, spare ribs, wings, shrimp toast and a fried chicken sandwich. Hours are Wednesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Banh Oui is located in the 4000 block of Fountain Avenue in Silver Lake.
  • The croissant has been reinvented into a sushi roll hybrid of sorts at Mr. Holmes Bake House in Highland Park, Los Angeles Magazine reports. Named the Cali Croissant, the filling of the pastry is made up of salmon, nori, ginger and wasabi, with soy sauce on the side. Mr. Holmes Bake House is located in the 100 block of Avenue 59 in Highland Park.
