City to start enforcing parking restrictions on homeless; Marshall High wins L.A. Unified Super Quiz; two injured in Boyle Heights crash

  • The LAPD is scheduled to begin enforcing new restrictions today on where homeless persons can park their vehicles.  People who live in their vehicles cannot park overnight in residential zones or within a block of a park,  school or day care facility at any time.   • Students from Los Feliz’ Marshall High won the Super Quiz portion of the Academic Decathlon for L.A. Unified Schools.  The winner of the overall competition will be announced later this week. The statewide contest will be held in March. L.A. Now
  • An early morning crash on Soto Street near the 5 Freeway in Boyle Heights left two people injured. One of the persons was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Pasadena Star News
