Design boutique and gathering spot opens on Silver Lake Boulevard

SILVER LAKE — Tiffany Howell once ran the music video division of a large Hollywood production company. But her heart was elsewhere. Passionate about art and interior design, she wanted to open a store close to her home that not only showcased the things that she loved but was also served as a gathering spot for like-minded people in the neighborhood. In December, Howell opened the store that she had long envisioned: Night Palm, an interior design and fine art boutique.

Located in a former Silver Lake Boulevard hair salon, Night Palm offers an eclectic mix of new and vintage merchandise, from handcrafted bags and hats to custom designed skateboards and Moroccan rugs. There are also rock ‘n’ roll photos, ceramics and perfumes.

“People will come in just to look at the art or flip through one our new books or just have a glass of wine and talk about their day,” said Howell, who lives near the shop with her family. “I get so inspired by all the amazing conversations I have and I’m grateful to be able to provide something unique and special to the neighborhood I love.”

Night Palm is located at 1724 Silver Lake Blvd

  1. Ooh I’m going to have to check her store out. I’ve also been loving County Ltd. on Hyperion for their gorgeous homeware selection.
