Runoff growing more likely in First District council race

Incumbent First District Councilman Gil Cedillo appears to be less likely to avoid a runoff based on today’s update of the results from the March 7 election. Medical center development triggers gentrification fears; John Steinbeck’s Eagle Rock years; hit-and-run crashes in East L.A. & Glassell Park

A hit-and-run suspect crashed into an AT&T store at Whittier Boulevard and Ciela Avenue in East L.A. early this morning.
