  • Firefighters prevented an early morning blaze at an East Hollywood strip mall on Fountain Avenue from spreading to a four-story apartment building next door. No injuries were reported. NBC LA
  • A subway under Atlantic Boulevard in East Los Angeles are among the concepts being studied as part of a possible extension of the Gold Line to Whittier.   1. Lolipop, get used to cleaning anti-gentrification messages off your building there in BH. They don’t take kind to “outsiders” aka white folk or anyone who wants to make improvements to the neighborhood frankly.
