Man stabbed in Highland Park area following dispute


Police are searching for a suspect that stabbed a man following a dispute in the Highland Park area Sunday night.

Police were called to an apartment complex on Avenue 66 near Crescent Street  in Garvanza at around 9:30 p.m. They found a man with stab wound on his left bicep, said Detective Brenda Salazar with LAPD Northeast Division.

The victim, a 42-year-old Latino, was stabbed by a male suspect following a dispute at the apartment complex. He was transported to the hospital to be treated, said Salazar.
There is no further information available at this time.
