Grisgris disappeared at 5 am on March 22, 2017 from home by the Music Box Steps at 935-939 N. Vendome St . She is small, feather-light, shy with strangers and hides well. She has distinct bow-tie white markings at the mouth, a black nose, white cravat, white front paws, and white booties on the rear legs where her gray fluffy duff makes her seem as if she wears boots. Word of sighting in late March on Descanso Drive.

Update: Grisgris has been found!

  1. Grisgris came home at 5 am in mid May, 55 days after she left. She was hungry and mildly unkempt, but healthy. She is safe, being brushed, combed, and purring, taking her usual spaces in the house. Should you be unfortunate enough to lose your kitty, I hope you will take heart, because who would have thought the cat might reappear after so long a wait! As the song says, “the cat came back, they thought he was a goner but the cat came back…”
