Northeast Police station on generator power after crash

GLASSELL PARK — The Northeast Division Police station is on generator power after a hit-and-run crash knocked out their regular power early this morning.

Lt. Ryan Schatz of the LAPD said the one-car collision occurred at 2:30 a.m. at San Fernando Road and Andrita Street. The car was left at the scene, but the driver fled.

Power to the police station was immediately restored through the generator.

“It hasn’t been too much of an inconvenience,” Schatz said.

  1. C’mon Eastersider you know Angelino’s are numb to traffic violence even when it is against the police. I would recommend a different headline to get more clicks and comments…

    “Road Diet on San Fernando?!”

“Road Diet coming to San Fernando after “accident””

    “Road Diet”

Hit-n-runs don’t get much attention from the public anymore because 1/3 have probably hit-n-run before. Even the LAPD love to hit-n-run. When you mention road diets you get much more clicks try that.
