  • Police released a composite drawing of one of the suspects involved in a series of residential burglaries in the Boyle Heights area since the beginning of the year. The “hot prowl” burglars have entered through unlocked windows and doors in the early morning hours to steal items as the victims slept.
  • CBS2 followed up on The Eastsider’s story about the 35-year-old mother of two boys who was fatally shot in Lincoln Heights last week. Judy Lillian Solorio of Cypress Park  had been out with a friend and was headed to the home of another friend when neighbors heard her engaged in an argument followed by gunfire as she walked near Avenue 26 and Barranca Street in Lincoln  Heights.
