Young urban planners show off ideas for the future of East L.A.

About 85 students from East L.A. Renaissance Academy came to USC this week with 10-foot-long models and 3D videos in hand to present their ideas for reimagining main streets, like Whittier and Atlantic boulevards and First Street. The ultimate goal of the ongoing Greetings From East L.A. project is to prepare ELARA students for attending the USC Price School of Public Policy.
