Councilman Cedillo defeats Bray-Ali in Council District 1 runoff [updated]

Incumbent First District Councilman Gil Cedillo  won the contentious runoff against cycling advocate Joe Bray-Ali  based on unofficial results. With more than 100% of the precincts reporting, Cedillo claimed more than 70% of the vote, according to the the L.A.
