More coffee now pouring on York Boulevard

HIGHLAND PARK —   The neighborhood’s newest coffee house was serving up its first coffee drinks and waffles this morning in a tiny storefront on York Boulevard.

Collage Coffee joins several other existing and planned coffee shops on York Boulevard — including Cafe De Leche and the Highland Cafe, which are a block away, and two Starbucks. At Collage, where the exterior is covered in a layer of colorful patterned tiles, there’s just enough room for a few people to stand to order drinks ranging from drop coffee to cold brew tea as well as waffles and Goat Cheese toast

Collage Coffee is located at 5106 York Boulevard

  1. Anyone know what’s happening with the old Ba space and Elsa’s Cafe space next door to this?

Ba is supposed to turn into a Taiwanese place from the same people behind Pine & Crane. While Ba changed ownership, I don’t remember reading that about Elsa’s. It is supposed to be a refresh but it’s been a long while.

  2. I’m a fan of coffee but this is getting out of hand
