Starbucks to join Los Feliz’ Caffeine Alley

New Blue Bottle on Hillhurst

LOS FELIZ — The north end of Hillhurst Avenue will soon be home to seven shops — including a now-under-construction Starbucks — where you can satisfy your coffee fix, reports The Los Feliz Ledger.

The newest entrant, Blue Bottle, held a grand opening last weekend for its new store at 2066 Hillhurst.  Meanwhile, less than two blocks north, work is underway to turn the former Tangier restaurant space into a Starbucks with a covered patio and a second space for another new cafe or restaurant, says The Ledger.

The other existing coffee places in this stretch, according to The Ledger, include Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Stamp Proper Foods, Café Los Feliz, Twenty40 and Maru.

Is there room for any more coffee shops in this part of Los Feliz?
