  • A man was killed early this morning on the 101 Freeway in East Hollywood after he was struck by at least three vehicles as he sat on a traffic lane. Daily News
  • Emmy-nominated East Los High, the Hulu drama series set in an East Los Angeles high school, has been cancelled after four seasons.  The network will broadcast an hour-long special to wrap up the show.  Deadline

  1. Another TV show, “One Day at a Time,” is a replay of the original 1970’s show, and is set in Echo Park. It’s second season is currently in production, while Season 1 is available on Netflix. One of the Writer/Producers lives here in Echo Park.
