In Silver Lake, PETA is hosting a Summer Kind Market – with vendors offering cruelty-free treats, clothing, beauty products, home goods, companion-animal supplies and more.  In Eagle Rock, a comedy show with Maria Bamford and other comedians benefits the homeless in Northeast Los Angeles. And in Rampart Village, Val Kilmer – yes, the Val Kilmer who appeared in such movies as “Top Gun” and Batman Forever” – displays his paintings and sculptures.
