Tweens lose their minds over YouTube star Danny Duncan’s Echo Park appearance

ECHO PARK — Who were all those kids crowded around Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard  last Saturday? They were the young and mostly male fans of Danny Duncan, whose more than 700,000 YouTube followers can’t get enough of his video hijinks.

The line of fans for his first meetup stretched around the corner from the new American Barbershop, where he was  hosting an art show, and  past the Los Burritos stand.  After appearing to toss what looks like cash into the air, Duncan jumped into the arms of fans crowded into a parking lot.  Of course, he put it on YouTube.

“It’s crazy,” he said of the event. “I really didn’t know how many people would show up.”

  1. I guess I know where I’ll never get a haircut.

  2. we’re doomed

  3. So he’s Tom Green meets Carrot Top?

    • He’s like a good vibes, light hearted, nice guy version of the “jackass” guys. Plus, he’s incredibly athletic.

  4. I hope Los Burritos made mucho dinero.

  5. Can someone please explain the “American Barbershop”s businsess plan? They have about 20 chairs ready for heads.
What are they thinking? They have no liquor license. There are dozens of barbershops w/in 2 miles.

  6. um yeah its the apocalypse y’all

  7. The I’m too old to understand this but the out in the open homoeroticism is at least interesting.
