17-year-old woman goes missing in Lincoln Heights; Echo Park pastor released by ICE; man convicted of killing 2 brothers in East L.A.

  • The public is being asked to help find a teenager who was last seen on Thursday, Sept. 21 in Lincoln Heights. Family members told police that 17-year-old Dexian Chen said she was taking a bus to her father’s place of business in Chinatown on Thursday afternoon but she never arrived. Anyone with information about Chen is asked to call the LAPD Hollenbeck Division Watch Commander at (323) 342-4100. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to (1-877-527-3247).
  • Echo Park pastor Noe Carias has been released by immigration authorities after he was put into detention two months ago. NBC LA
  • A jury found a 24-year-old Bell Gardens man guilty of the fatal November 2015 shooting of two brothers — Antonio Aguilar and Juan Aguilar — at Salazar Park in East Los Angeles. KTLA
