  1. This is absolutely disgusting and so are the gang enablers and apologists that make excuses for these people. Gang members not only hurt themselves, but destroy their family and the community. If you know of gang activity, stop standing by idly and call the police. We do not live in a 3rd world country where gang membership is a necessary part of life. These people CHOOSE this lifestyle regardless of what the media might state – try thinking for yourself for a change!!,

    • Agreed. This from elsewhere in the Eastsider: Authorities will be prevented from enforcing a gang injunction against one Echo Park man who has denied being a gang-member. A federal judge said that Peter Arellano, who is part of a civil rights lawsuit challenging city gang injunctions, “is likely to establish that the city did not provide him with due process in enforcing the injunction against him.” L.A. 2. I have family in a 3rd world country, my cousins are engineers not gangsters.

    • Always looking for something to be offended by. He didn’t say everybody in the third world is a gang member. If your cousins are engineers than they’re most likely not a part of the lower class.

  3. I have not seen you since we are kids, but I did keep in touch with your sister(my sister) So sorry this happen to you. We love you and you will be missed. May the Lord watch over the family you had to leave behind. Lord lift up his family in their time of loss. Praying for healing for all involved. Rest peacefully Damien…
