Lincoln Heights school scores high for college-bound graduates; rent freeze proposed for Caltrans homes in El Sereno

  • Bravo Medical Magnet High in Lincoln Heights is among the top 10 L.A. school district campuses with the highest rates of graduates enrolled in college. Eighty-seven percent of the school’s 2016 graduates were enrolled in college by April of this year. L.A. Times
  • A bill approved by the state legislature would freeze rents on more than 100 of the Caltrans-owned homes in El Sereno, South Pasadena and Pasadena. The agency is preparing to sell off the properties located on the route once proposed for an extension of the 710 Freeway. SGV News
