BOYLE HEIGHTS — One man is dead and two other persons were wounded following a shooting in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue early this morning.

The victim, described as a male Latino between 30 to 35 years of age, was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital, said Officer Irma Mota with LAPD Media Relations.

In addition to the one fatality, a second man and a woman were also wounded in the shooting, CBS2 reports.

It’s not known if the shooting, which took place at about 1:10 a.m., is gang related or how many suspects were involved, Mota said.
