It’s the 18th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival, produced by the Center for the Arts, will fill Colorado Boulevard on Saturday night with a variety of musical acts and performances. For anyone seeking the perfect preschool for their child, the MOMS Club of Silver Lake is hosting their annual preschool forum at Ivanhoe Elementary School. And in El Sereno, BODYTRAFFIC performs contemporary dance at the Luckman complex at Cal State L.A.

Sparks Take Over The El Rey

Musical mavericks Sparks – Californian brothers Ron and Russell Mael – have returned. Described as “the smartest, most consistently evolving band in the history of rock” and internationally acclaimed as pop pioneers, Sparks’ music has always been innovative and instantly identifiable. Sparks will play a special event, 3-day series at the El Rey Theatre starting Oct. 14.
