Going to the Dodgers-Diamondbacks game tonight? Better watch where you park

Dodger Stadium

The LAPD is advising fans headed to tonight’s sold-out division series game between the Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks to watch out for temporary “No Parking” restrictions near the ballpark.

The restrictions apply to the scenic Avenue of the Palms, a section of Stadium Way near Scott Avenue in Elysian Park. The restrictions, which are intended to reduce traffic congestion and parking delays, will be in place during all postseason games.

“In addition to parking enforcement, LAPD officers will be patrolling the area to enforce the no tolerance policy for drinking in public or in the parks,” said a statement issued by the LAPD. “Dodger fans are also reminded that there is no tailgating in Dodger Stadium. Everyone in attendance deserves a safe and fun-filled evening of baseball, so please respect the neighborhood and stay safe. Let’s Play Ball!”

Tonight’s game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm while Saturday’s match is set for 6 pm

  1. DOT did not issue a single ticket to those parked on our street without parking permits – for either game. Great job dropping the ball, DOT.
