Silver Lake Halloween decor takes its cue from Stranger Things’ Alphabet Wall

SILVER LAKE — The Vidal family is known for turning pumpkins and gourds into with eye-catching Halloween sculptures that decorate their front yard across from the Silver Lake Reservoir. This year the family took a slightly different approach, blending a ghastly gourd with a replica of the Alphabet Wall featured in the Netflix sci-fi horror series Stranger Things.

Joyce Byers, the character played by Winona Ryder, uses the Alphabet Wall to communicate with her son trapped in a parallel dimension known as the Upside Down. The Eastsider would like to use the Alphabet Wall to wish all our readers a Happy Halloween!

  1. I was wondering what the Vidal family was up to this year. Thanks for posting!
