Smoke from the Anaheim Hills fire clouds the L.A. sky; smoke advisory issued

SILVER LAKE — Smoke from the Anaheim Hills fire in Orange County has clouded the skies over Los Angeles. Dan Gershon of Silver Lake took a photo as the smoke partially obscured today’s sunset.   Turns out Gershon was in the San Francisco area in this morning, where smoke from the Napa wine country fires also spread across the skies.

Air quality officials issued a smoke advisory for western portions of L.A. County through Tuesday morning as winds from the northeast and east blow smoke from Orange County across the area.

Gershon was not the only one who noticed the smoke drifting across the skies this afternoon. Here are a sample of photos that have popped up on Instagram:
