Charter Rejection: The L.A. school board rejected a proposal by The International Studies Language Academy to open a new school in Glassell Park with more than 400 students. District officials cited several reason for the rejection, including a flawed educational program and a “unrealistic financial and operational plan.” L.A. Schools Report
