Vehicle pursuit ends in El Sereno; leader of Lincoln Heights art space moves on; charter school deal

Art Space: For the past decade artist Charon Nogues has overseen an eclectic and busy schedule of shows and exhibits at HM157, an arts and performance space housed in a Lincoln Heights Victorian home. But now Nogues is returning to her hometown of Detroit, leaving other members of the artist collective to run the place. “HM157 is going to slow down,” Nogues said. “The residents and the neighborhood need a long, meaningful break.” L.A.
