Lincoln Heights freeway crash; El Sereno fire & burglary; take Metrolink to Dodger games?

Crash: Three people were taken to hospitals in fair condition following a crash at about 5 am this morning on the northbound 5 Freeway near Main Street in Lincoln Heights. LAFD

Fire:  An El Sereno family claims their fire-damaged home was burglarized by squatters who lived in the apartment next door where the fire originated. ABC7

Dodger Train: Commuter train operator Metrolink is going to study adding rail service during Dodger games on its Antelope Valley and San Bernardino lines. Dodger fans would take the train to Union Station and then the Dodger Shuttle to the stadium under the proposal made by Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis. Fans would then return to the station after the game to board a waiting train. Agency will report back to agency’s board with the feasibility of the service, its cost and proposed fares.
