If you have not made your Earth Day celebration plans, consider attending the Sierra Club picnic fundraiser at Echo Park Lake or the L.A. River clean up in Elysian Valley. And, if you are not put off by slimy things, learn about worm composting or help plant a bee and butterfly garden at Heritage Square in Montecito Heights
Read on for our top 10 events and things-to-do this weekend:

Family Fun – Bring the kids along for Odd Nights at the Autry where you can spread a blanket on the lawn and listen to live music while the little ones run wild in their own fun zone with a rock wall and massive inflatables. The Odd Market will have more than 80 vendors and pop-up shops and food trucks.
Dance – End your 420 right with some cumbias during Cumbiaton at First Street Pool and Billiard in Boyle Heights. DJs Funky Caramelo, Lady Soul and Kellye Kell will be in charge of the decks during the “grrrl night takeover.”
Dance – If you can’t seem to cut those Spice Girls and NSync hits from your playlist, then you’ll heart Club 90s at Los Globos in Silver Lake.
SATURDAY, April 21
Family Fun – Celebrate the little ones in your life during Dia del Niño at the Floricanto Center for the Performing Arts in City Terrace. The event, inspired by the Mexican holiday that celebrates children, will feature youth dance troupes and musicians.

SUNDAY, April 22
Do Good – If you’re sick of seeing trash in the L.A. River, now’s your chance to do something about it during the 29th Annual Great Los Angeles River Cleanup hosted by Friends of the L.A. River. Saturday’s cleanup focuses on Bond Park, Bowtie Parcel, Marsh Park and the Frog Spot.
Shop – This Saturday and Sunday, the Union Swapmeet in East Hollywood will partner with L.A. Sewcial to bring additional crafters and makers to the space for a monthly pop-up event and co-ed clothing swap.
